Whether you are new to the broker world or you have been working in the insurance industry for some time now, it is 'never too early or too late'; for that matter; to jump on board the "education train".

Just entering the world of insurance? You'll want to begin your professional development journey with the premier pre-licensing study course for beginning general insurance brokers, *The Fundamentals of Insurance.
Click on the Fundamentals menu to the left to begin your career path.

Already have your general insurance license and want to further your industry knowledge? Then, it is time to enroll in CAIB; a national designation program designed, written, and delivered by brokers, for brokers. This program consists of four modules and will take you from Intro to General Insurance to Suggested Readings & Case Studies, with many insurance stops in between on your education ride.
Click on the CAIB menu to the left to view a more comprehensive syllabus.

All finished CAIB and no where to go? Not so, your expedition is far from over. The natural progression for your continued broker education is CPIB, a senior designation program developed by the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada and its Member Associations. CPIB has been designed specifically for property and casualty insurance brokers and is positioned at a university level of study with admission prerequisites set at either CAIB or AIIC/CIP designations, or waived for CCIB graduates. This program consists of three distinct streams: Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Broker Management. To earn the CPIB designation, students must complete the three mandatory courses and any three of the elective courses in that stream.
Click on the CPIB menu to the left to find out more about this exciting program.

Want to earn The Cadillac of Insurance Designations? CCIB is the highest National Designation a Canadian Insurance Broker can earn. While there is suggested study material in preparation to challenge the CCIB exam, there is no set course of study for CCIB. The intent of CCIB is to test the knowledge you have gained while employed in the insurance industry. Complete this one and you will have reached 'conductor status on your education train'.
To find out if you meet the required qualifications to challenge CCIB, click on the CCIB menu to the left.

To register for any of the featured Course Offerings, click on the Registration menu to the left.
We'll see you aboard the education train!

*Effective December 31, 2005, a general license will also be attainable through CAIB, module 1.
