Rus Rice Memorial Bursary
This $1,000 bursary will be presented to a full time student, including freshmen, pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies at a recognized degree granting institution. Applicants must be a dependant of a broker or a staff member of a firm in the Atlantic Provinces, which is a member in good standing of their Provincial Association.
The bursary will be awarded on the following basis:

Applications along with High School and University transcripts are to be forwarded to their Provincial Association office, post marked no later than July 31.
C.D. Fraser Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to the son or daughter of a member broker, or an employee of a member broker of IBANS, who is entering their second year, or higher, of full- time studies in an accredited Canadian university. This $1,000 scholarship will be based on the following criteria;

Outstanding academic achievement in their previous year(s) of full-time university studies.

Extra-curricular activities which demonstrate community leadership.
Applications together with transcripts of previous year(s) marks and references to be forwarded to IBANS, post marked no later than July 31. Selection will be made by September. On notification, the winner of the scholarship must satisfy the selection committee that they are a registered full-time student.
