The misconception that cyber liability is just for big companies needs to be broken as this coverage can make the difference between staying in business or shutting down after an attack. Cyber liability insurance can protect your business not only from threats such as hackers, lost or stolen laptops, business interruption, but also a long list of other threats that can leave a lasting impact on your business.
In this webinar you will learn what threats companies are facing and how to mitigate that risk. We will discuss potential claims with real life examples, things to look for in coverage as well as the litigation side of things. This webinar is for all insurance professionals, and will be 2 hours in length. A workbook will be provided to each participant which consists of the PowerPoint presentation, areas to take notes, as well as group activities.

Melanie has over 18 years experience in the insurance industry and has held various positions including Underwriting, Risk Management and Business Strategy Analyst. Although Melanie currently owns her own consulting firm she was a corporate trainer and developer for a large national company for 10 years and prior to that she was a named underwriter with Lloyds of London. Melanie’s true expertise is in commercial and specialty lines however she also teaches the RIBO/Agent licensing course as well as CIP courses across Canada and has a strong understanding of the broker’s role and how to make them successful.
Melanie was awarded the Instructor of the year award through the Insurance Institute of Ontario numerous times and in 2011 was awarded the national Emerging Leader award through the Insurance Institute of Canada.
