Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB)
The Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB) is a senior designation program developed by the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) and its provincial member associations.
CPIB is positioned at a university-level of study and allows brokers to focus their studies in one of three areas of interest: Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Brokerage Management.
Within each area of study, the broker must complete three mandatory and three elective courses to earn the designation.

The cost of each of the three study disciplines includes a textbook covering the mandatory course section and exam.
Completion of the course does not affect or change license levels.
