Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB)

The Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB) is a senior designation program developed by the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) and its provincial member associations.

CPIB is positioned at a university-level of study and allows brokers to focus their studies in one of three areas of interest: Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Brokerage Management.

Within each area of study, the broker must complete three mandatory and three elective courses to earn the designation.

Symbol * represents courses that are strongly recommended due to their relevancy.

The cost each of the three study disciplines includes a textbook covering the mandatory course section and exam.

Completion of the course does not affect or change license levels
