Our YBN are excited to announce the event they’ll be hosting this fall: “Minutes to Midnight” – a virtual escape room experience.   

We’ve teamed up with Mystery Escape Rooms for this event – they will be hosting and running virtual escape rooms for teams of 12. Each team will be in their own escape room with a live host guiding their experience. The goal is to crack the clues and solve the mystery before the time is up!

In the adventure the team is recruited to stop a terrorist attack by an unknown terrorist group. The team has one hour to find information about the attack and the terrorists. They need to find out who the terrorists are, where they plan to attack and what weapon they plan to attack with. There are six roles that team members can choose from: science, police, research, communication, criminology and geography. Each team member will receive information specific to their role in the adventure. By combining their knowledge and good team collaboration the team might be able to stop the attack. There are three levels of winning the adventure, so even the best teams are challenged right up to the last minute.

Prizes will be awarded to the teams that solve the mystery the fastest / win the most levels of the adventure.

DATE: Thursday October 22, 2020

TIME: 6:00 pm - 8:00pm

COST: FREE for IBANS members and insurer partners. Please note that this event is open to ALL IBANS members, not just those under 40 or new to the industry within 5 years.

TEAMS / TEAM SIZE: Each team will have 12 people. If there are people you’d really like to be on a team with, please email keri@ibans.com and we will try our best to accommodate requests. Since each team has to have exactly 12 people, we can’t guarantee everyone will be teamed up with everyone they request to be teamed up with (unless you request a full team of 12), but we’ll do our best to keep people together!
