Everyone should take a moment during Emergency Preparedness Week, May 1-7, 2016 to review these three simple steps.

  1. Know the Risks:

Flood, hurricane, blizzard, storm surge, power outage are just a few. Be especially aware of those that are known to affect your region or area.

  1. Have a Plan:

Emergency escape routes, designated meeting areas, and the location of fire extinguishers, water valves and electrical panels.

       3. Get an Emergency Kit:

Include the basics such as water, non-perishable food, a can opener, flashlight and batteries, battery operated radio, first aid kit, and cash.
