Socializing is synonymous with the holidays. Unfortunately, too many people don’t plan ahead. Both drivers and party hosts need to practice safe and sober driving during the holiday season.
As you celebrate with family and friends remember to plan ahead:
- have a designated driver assigned to take people home,
- offer non-alcoholic beverages as an option,
- have contact information available for cabs or money set aside for guests to take public transportation,
- have additional space set up for guests who need to stay overnight.
Remember to practice safe driving to ensure everyone has a joyous holiday season. Be responsible – don’t drink and drive or allow other to drive drunk.
