Duties: Responsible for the proactive servicing of a Personal Lines Book of Business.
• Selling new policies to both existing and new clients.
• Proactively maintaining contact with existing clients to ensure a smooth and positive renewal experience.
• Timely servicing of clients on-going insurance needs including client enquiries, advising on insurance matters, assessing clients needs and recommending solutions.
• Assisting clients with completion of applications, questionnaires, and insurer requirements.
• Maintaining a current understanding of various insurer underwriting rules and workflow processes.
• Working actively with the team to ensure company goals are achieved.
• Participating in on-going training as required.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Experience in a Property and Casualty insurance brokerage. Minimum requirement for this position is a Level 1 license with a willingness to work toward a Level 2 or higher. A strong aptitude for sales and achieving goals is essential, a proven track record in sales is a must. Providing an exceptional customer experience should come naturally. Good computer skills and an eye to detail are also important.
