Job Description / Duties

Personal Lines/Customer Service Representative
Busy Halifax Insurance Brokerage is looking to hire a full time employee to compliment our present team of professionals.
The position involves: providing front-line customer service of our Personal Lines clients, responsible for retention, account development of existing clients, quoting and placing New Business as required. Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answering inquires, gathering and reporting claims details, processing payments, data entry and thorough record of client contact within our Broker Management system.
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be a people oriented individual and team player. Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Hold a Level I Insurance License and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Progression to the completion of the CAIB and/or CIP designation is an asset.
