Job Description / Duties
• Obtain underwriting information from Client Executives and/or
clients and creates submissions and/or summaries to insurers.
• Requests and follows up with insurers for outstanding information,
endorsements or policy documentation.
• Must complete all certificates in a timely manner.
• Works with Client Executives and/or Client Service Managers.
• Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and
completeness and as required, notes and corrects errors.
• Creates abeyances and follows up for outstanding items from
underwriters, markets and clients.
• Monitors and follows up on outstanding client’s receivable.
• Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.
• Oversee a small personal lines book of business from start to finish.
Qualifications / Required Skills
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• College or university diploma with a minimum of 2 years of work
experience in insurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Customer focused and sales oriented.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work well with others throughout the organization.
• Experience with Broker Management systems Epic or Tam.
