Job Description / Duties

The successful candidate will have previous experience in the insurance industry and be able to succeed in fulfilling the following responsibilities:

-Manage relationships with existing customer base
-Assist customers with policy changes of any kind
-Responsible for customer retention
-Quoting/selling of new policies
-servicing of existing accounts
-Re-marketing policies to better fit customer needs
-Fostering relationships with company representatives
-Contributing to marketing/social media campaigns
-facilitating customer payment inquiries

Qualifications / Required Skills

-Hold a general insurance licence
-Completion of the CAIB/CIP designation(s) considered an asset
-Post secondary education- preferably in business/administration or relative business experience
-1-3 years experience in the insurance industry
-Experienced in navigating insurer portals
-Experienced in using broker management systems (bms)
-Strong sales and communication skills

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education as it relates the above highlighted requirements.
