Job Description / Duties
Archway Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Client Representative. Reporting to the VP Corporate, the Client Representative works closely with Account Executives in the provision of professional and practical insurance advice to an assigned group of clients. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Maintain a technical and service-oriented relationship with clients, and attending client meetings, as required.
Reviewing and maintaining expiration lists, working closely with Account Executives throughout the Renewal process, including following up with clients and underwriters, receiving and reviewing quotes, and preparing proposal for client.
Diligently and carefully reviewing insurance policies and related documentation for accuracy and preparing same for clients, underwriters and other professionals. Including, but not limited to, client presentations, proposals, market submissions, binders, policies, schedules, certificates, client contracts, finance contracts, and endorsements.
Working with the processing team on renewal letters, billing/invoicing, and other processing requirements.
Reporting incoming claims, monitoring status of claims, redirecting complex claims to Account Executive.
Working closely with Account Executives on new business opportunities. Including collection of information from prospective client, communicating with insurers, sending submission to market, monitoring status of quotes, preparing proposal for Account Executive, and possibly attending meeting with Account Executive to present proposal.
Qualifications / Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Commercial Insurance experience is required, ideally minimum 3-5 years.
Brokers License in NS and NB will be required.
Insurance-related designations and/or professional designations are a highly valued asset.
Post-secondary education is an asset.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
